    To be able to conduct an experiement and draw meaninful conclusions, we should have variables we can work with. In this case, as the scientist tries to study how the temperature of a baseball affects the distance it travels, A meaningful variable would be to check the distance travelled by the same baseball at different temperatures.

    Therefore, it is essential to have an experimental variable to be able to reacreate and repeat the experiements time and again
