    Time = (distance) / (speed)

    Distance = 8 cm or 0.08 meter

    Time = (0.08 meter) / (3 meter/sec)

    Time = (0.08 meter) · (sec / 3 meter)

    Time = (0.08 / 3) (meter-sec/meter)

    Time = 0.027 second

    8cm is 0.08metres

    if 3 metres per second,

    time = distance/speed

    time = 0.08/3

    0.027 second
