Geronimo wants to move an object 12 meters. Calculate the net work done by the object with an applied force of 150 N and a friction force of 37 N.

    ←37 N (friction is a negative force) 150N→

    we combine both forces which we subtract from eachother so

    150N-37N=113N

    [net] work = ForcexDistance

    so 113N x 12m = 1356J
