    Put a container in the water and the water displaced is the volume of the container and record it

    Refill the eureka can and put in both the container while it contains the dissolvable substance and record the volume of the water displaced

    Subtract the second volume of water displaced from the first volume of water displaced to get volume of the dissolvable substance
