Five metal samples, with equal masses, are heated to 200 degrees Celcius. Each solid is dropped into a beaker containing 200 ml 15 degrees Celcius water. Which metal will raise the temperature of the water the most?

    I had gotten this question on USA Test Prep and this was their explanation:

    "The correct answer is aluminum. Specific heat is the measure of the heat energy required to increase or decrease the temperature of a substance by a certain temperature interval. Aluminum has the highest specific heat; that means at the same temperature as the other metals, it contains the most amount of energy. When placed in the water, it will transfer the most energy and raise the temperature the highest."
