1. An electric current of 0.028 A flows through a vacuum tube. What is

a) the amount of charge

b) the number of electrons

passing through the tube in 75 s?

    Now Charge, Q = current * time

    =0.028*75=2.1columb

    2. Now the charge of 1 electron is 1.6*10^-19C

    Hence for 2.1 C, the number of electron is;

    2.1/1.6*10^-19 = 1.31*10^19 electrons
