A student combine equal amounts of two solutions. One solution ha a pH of 2 and the other half had a pH of 12. Which would most likely be the resulting pH?

    A pH of 7 because when you add a strong acid to a strong base, they end up canceling each other out and make a pH that is nearly neutral.
