Supposing a full can of deodorant has an exit velocity (v) of 56 feet per second, use the formula below to find the relative pressure inside the can (p) in psi (pounds per square inch) : v = 8√p

    And also given

    v = 8√p

    Then,

    If we square both sides, we have something like this

    v² = 8² (√p) ², if we rearrange, making p the subject of the formula,

    v = 56 ft/sec, so if we substitute the value of v in the formula

    p = (56) ²/64

    p = 3136 / 64

    p = 49 psi

    Therefore, the relative pressure inside the can is 49 psi
