Consider a person sliding down a water slide at constant velocity. what are the forces acting on the person as they slide? are the forces balanced or unbalanced? explain.

    Gravity, Normal force from slide (reaction), acceleration, friction. They are not balanced because the person is going in a direction. The person would be standing still if forces were balanced.
