Convection is a process of heat transfer between a surface and a moving fluid. It occurs when the air has a lower temperature than the body, and the body transfers heat through contact with the cold air around it. Air heating causes it to rise. The increase in temperature affects the convection process, since as the warm air rises, the cold air takes its place, thus completing its convection cycle. Example: Wind
