    Work done (energy) = force * distance

    So: distance = work done / force

    = 2.7 / 4.5

    = 0.6m

    Work = (force) x (distance)

    2.7 Joules = (4.5 N) x (distance)

    distance = 2.7 J / 4.5 N

    = 0.6 meter
