Using the atomic symbol above report how many protons, neutron, and electrons an atom of neon contains.

    The atomic number in the top left tells you how many protons an element contains so for neon it would be 10 protons.

    Atoms have no overall electrical charge so the amount of electrons must be the same as the amount of protons. So 10 electrons.

    To find the number of neutrons you need to round the atomic weight to the nearest whole number so for neon it would be 20
