Calculate the fundamental frequency of a 4 meter organ pipe that is open at both ends. assume that the temperature is 20◦c and the speed of the sound is 344 m/s. answer in units of hz.

    To calculate for the fundamental frequency of the sound, the speed of sound is divided by the wavelength. That is,

    frequency = (344 m/s) / 4 m

    frequency = 86/s

    Or the frequency is equal to 86 hz.
