Why is it not a good idea to stick a metal fork in a plugged in toaster to remove a stuck piece of toast? In your explanation be sure to use the concepts of electrical conduction and voltage.

    because the electrons in metal (conductors) will reach your body, and the voltage gives a shock, instead of flowing safely to the ground from the earth wire without the current changing direction.
