A particle moving uniformly along the x axis is located at 11.3 m at 0.588s and at 3.38 m at 4.67s. Find the displacement during this time intervals.

    The displacement is

    (position at the end of the time interval)

    minus

    (position at the beginning of the time interval).

    Displacement = (3.38m - 11.3m) = - 7.92 meters.

    The time labels aren't needed to calculate displacement.
