How can baking soda extinguish fires?

    Yes but only small grease fires. But if it's a huge fire you'll probably need alot of baking soda

    When sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) is heated, it becomes sodium carbonate. In this process water and carbon dioxide is released. The CO2 starves the fire of 02.
