If the satellite was placed in an orbit three times farther away, about how long would it take to orbit the Earth once? Answer in days, rounding to one significant figure.

    The time period of an orbit is given by:

    T² = (2πr³) / GM

    Therefore, if we increase the radius by 3 times,

    the time period will increase by:

    (3) ³⁺²

    = 5.20 times
