A producer is a living thing that makes its own food. Such as tree and flower which uses sunlight to make food. While consumer is a living thing that depends on other living things to make its own food. All animals are considered consumers because all animals depends on plants and other animals to get their food. Examples are a wolf hunts other animals to feed themselves and bird gathered food from plants.
