Bush was a realist but a Texan too which throws his realism into the sugar coated zone. so "too practical" no. but strategical talker? no not that, his mind runs too slow. but his dad was an idealist and because he believed those things he used realism to justify the perfect future George Sr. dreamed up. George Jr. is actually just a guy with scripted speechs intended to support his actions. which were realist and organized really. even his bailout worked, cause he knew what he was doing.
