Why was louis xvi afraid of the formation of the national assembly

    The National assembly called the National convention to create a new constitution and in addition to it, all males had the right to vote. On the other hand, Louis XIV added war debts and court expenses causing a financial crisis and if he supported the american revolution, it would also increase the debts.
