    Okay. The articles did not give much power to the national government. Therefore, A is out. B doesn't really tie in much into the answer. B is out. The Articles of Confederation did not have that much power and they wanted a stronger government. Shays' Rebellion happened and then lawmakers started to make changes. That's how the Constitution was adopted over the Articles of Confederation, because the rebellion revealed the weakness of the AOC. The answer is C.
