How did the learning achievements of the egyptians affect later civilizations?

They wrote everything down and so the later civilizations were able to learn about their acquired knowledge, such as medicine, maths, and science.

Because of these writings, other civilizations saved up hundred years worth of Research and could start to contribute to developing/adding up the Knowledge that left by the Egyptian Civilization.
