    Answer: Clear cutting is a process of having all the trees in a particular location cut out for some specific reasons of which can be either positive or negative.

    clearcutting can have an effect on the depth of snow. In temperate climates, snow is usually greater in clear cut areas than in the forest. This causes less soil frost and makes the snow to melt earlier in clear cut areas than in the forest.
