What is the differences between war and murder?

    "The adjective unlawful makes all the difference. One person shooting another on the streets may be murder, but on the battlefield it's condoned ... Since murder is illegal by definition, killing a soldier on the battlefield in a war can't be murder. A soldier who kills an enemy under the rules of war isn't a murderer"

    war is meant for killing people that arent on your side, murder is where you kill somebody because they did something to you or just dont like you

    In war there are massive casualties not accounted for. The soldiers didnt really matter to the country that was invading. they were just in the way of getting to their end goal ... where as murder is usually targeted towards a single person with a vendetta.
