    (D) University students

    Explanation:

    The original IQ formula would be LEAST appropriate for representing the intelligence test performance of university students. It is the original and first IQ test that was set up by Lewis Terman at Stanford University (1916) and was based upon the earlier work of French psychologist Alfred Binet and his student Theodore.

    Answer: University Students.

    Explanation: originally, to calculate the IQ of an individual, the formula used was:

    IQ = Mental age : Physical age * 100

    There was a lot of controversy with this formula as mental age was different for different physical ages.

    Scientist often considered girls to be more emotionally matured than boys at around puberty.

    This was not suitable for university students because no matter what the child's chronological age, if the mental age is the same as the chronological age, then the IQ would equal 100.
