    The Quebec Act expanded the boundaries of Quebec westward and extended and southward to the junction of the Ohio and the Mississippi and northward to the height of land between the Great Lakes and Hudson Bay.

    Explanation:

    The Quebec Act 1774 instituted a permanent administration in Canada which replaced the temporary government which was created at the time of Proclamation of 1763. This act was passed with the intention of giving religious freedom to the french Canadians.

    This act also increased the political freedom for Catholics.
