The two reasons for English colonization given by Richard Hakluyt are that such colonization can bring about Protestant religion to the new world and also would have economic advantages.

He portrayed the Spanish people as being pro - catholic and called them as terrorists.

    Explanation:

This colonization will bring about expansion of trade for the English. It will provide a source of raw material for English cloths. He felt that the English interference will provide salvation from the catholic rule in the world.

He also felt that the English colonization can bring about employment to people in England who are without a job and income.

He said it will also give social safety to the new world. Through such colonization, trade would improve and the treasury of the English will be filled.

This will be economically, socially and religiously beneficial to the English.
