For a strong correlation, people often assume that change in one quantity causes change in the second quantity. This is not always true.     Yes, I believe that change in the first quantity causes change in the second quantity. As the size of car engine increases, it can accommodate more number of people as the power generated by the engine increases. And on decreasing the size of engine its, power decreases and hence, the number of people, it can carry decreases.

    Hence A strong positive correlation.
