Evolutionary theory has caused tremendous debate and skepticism. The condemnation involves but may not be restricted to disputes over the formal verification in evolutionary hypotheses, alternatives to some of the cognitive assumptions frequently used in evolutionary psychology, supposed ambiguity arising from evolutionary suppositions (including instability regarding the current evolutionary adaptation atmosphere), differentiating pressure on the significance of anti-adaptive justifications.
