    Martian rovers were sent by NASA into the space for searching evidence of life in other planet. It also studied minerals in rock surface. Minerals are part of rock. Minerals are found on the earth surface in great quantity. For e. g. iron, silicate, magnesium, aluminum etc.

    After volcanic eruption when it is cooled down it get affected by water activity. That's why its soft in nature and carried the evidence of past life, cementation and water mark. This soft natured rocks are called sedimentary rock.
