Before children develop verbal skills, aggressive behavior is manifested physically and is seen as a normal developmental process in childhood. As they mature and enter school they may continue to display the same aggressive behaviors which include crying, biting, kicking, screaming, throwing. As they begin to have social interactions they might begin to show aggressive behaviors towards their peer such as teasing, bullying, fighting and sometimes cruelty to animals.

As they get to stage of adolescence the aggressive behavior can result in violence resulting in injury or death. From adolescence to adulthood, the aggressive behavior can result in even more violent acts such as domestic violence, sexual abuse, child abuse and homicide.
