Münsterberg had a dilemma of choosing his side during the First World war, he couldn't choose between America and Germany, which created many contradictions about him.

Explanation:Hugo Munsterberg was a German-American psychologist. he was noted for pioneering psychology in industry, law, medicine, and education. Münsterberg was recruited by William James to assume leadership of Harvard's experimental psychology lab, although he went back to Germany in 1895. He returned to Harvard with a full professorship in 1897 where he spent the rest of his career in the University. Munsterberg recorded a lot of achievement during this period he was elected the president of the American Psychological Association. Many of Münsterberg's works are; On the Witness Stand (1908), Psychotherapy (1909), and Psychology and Industrial Efficiency (1913). He widely influenced successive generations of practitioners and researchers. His life was sadly cut short; in 1916 he died suddenly, in the midst of delivering a lecture.
