The resurgence of Classical knowledge: During the Renaissance, the knowledge of Ancient Greece and Rome became more widely known, and scholars studied it widely.

The flourishing of the arts: During the Renaissance, arts such as painting, sculpture, architecture and writing flourished, becoming more widespread, more competitive and more remarkable than in the past.
