The correct answer to the question: Which of the following is a cost of dehumanization, would be, D: All of the above.

    Explanation:

Dehumanization is described as the process by which, the perception of oneself, or another, as an individual, with the same characteristics, and conditions, that make them, and us, human is altered, and a sense of inferiority is generated. As such, in certain cases, especially where there is a racial perception that someone is lesser than another because he/she does not possess the same qualifications that catalogue them into the human species, a sense of inferiority, or even a lack of sense of belonging to the species, may ensue, and with it bring a violation of a person's rights. In this scenario, it is possible, that, given the right circumstances, and constant influence: a person who lives constantly treated as non-human, or lesser than other humans, may start to believe this. Second, that the oppressors will start to believe that, in fact, their victims are not human, and third, that race is taken as a foothold to demean another person on the base of difference, or racial superiority. The best examples of this, would be: slavery and also, the racial discrimination in Nazi Germany against the Jews.
