As you may already know, Native Americans have many traditions and religions with characteristics different from what we know. However, even in the midst of differences, we must respect their rituals and religious symbols, be they objects or places.

For the natives, there are places that are sacred and should not be used with anything other than what they symbolize. In this case, the natives consider it a desecration when these places are used for exploitation of resources, and any other type of activity, including the storage of toxic waste.
