    The answer to the question is simply No.

    Explanation

    The dependent and independent variables have the relationship between them but they do not contain the condition of vice versa i. e. the independent variables can change the dependent variables but there will be no effect of a dependent variable on the independent variable. For example, the number of hours, if someone spends for preparation of exam will affect the score. in this case, the number of hours is the independent variable and the test score is the dependent. It never happens the test score affects the number of hours for preparation.
