Janet has been experiencing an elated mood, decreased need for sleep, inflated self-esteem, and has been much more productive at work than she normally is (e. G., attempting to complete projects that should take a couple of months in a couple of days). These changes in janet are different from her normal self, although she is still functioning well in her relationships with others and at work. Janet has been feeling this way for eight days and experienced a major depressive episode one month prior. What diagnosis would you give janet?
