    Explanation: But if you deeply think about it, there are several, or at least marked differences between conquer strategies of Spanish and French colonist. The violence is one of the constants. French just realize that they wanted to occupy a determinate soil, and so they did. But Spanish were more "tactical", convincing their enemies that they have come in therms of peace, just to stab them in thier backs.
