The answer is False. Neither Western European countries nor Japan currently have an abundance of crude oil. For that reason, they are using some polemic techniques such as fracking like the United Kingdom. On the other hand, they are purchasing it from Middle Eastern countries such as Qatar, UAE, and Oman.
