Jargon.

Explanation:

Jargon is the words and expression you used in a specific situation. Jargons could be determine for the context, situation or culture. In this case, it's a professional group, so they have certain jargon, most of the cases, it's a technical jargon.

Science is one example. Scientist have to use technical jargons to explain with objectivity about some research, but this way of communicating is not used in their homes, because is not necessary and people won't understand them.
