How were the Mayas and the Zapotecs similar?

Both civilizations were ruled by an emperor.

Both civilizations played a ball game with hoops.

Both civilizations practiced monotheistic religions.

Both civilizations existed well into the 1400s.

    - yes, this is true!

    Both civilizations played a ball game with hoops.

    -this is also true (but I don't think the author of the question meant is as an answer: the Zapotecs played it only a little, when they had contact with other cultures.

    -absolutely false, they were both polytheistic

    Both civilizations existed well into the 1400s.

    -Well, Well, i Know for sure that this is true, but i think the authors meant it as false ... in fact both existed until the arrival of Spanish in the 1500s!

    But the main period of the Mayas was well over by then, they were not as powerful anymore. But even today, there is a rich Maya culture!
