How do geographers determine the locations of places?

    1. One of their ways to locate a certain place is that they describe the exact spot of the place in the globe or they called it "Absolute location." To know the absolute location, they use a network of an imaginary line around the globe; the equator, the south and north poles, and the prime meridian. Some people also use relative location to find the location of the place they’re looking. Relative location is a way of finding a certain place using the nearest location it can be located.

    The most reliable and unambiguous way to determine the locations is using the coordinate system, that is giving the longitude and the latitude of a place.
