What was the result of FDR's court-packing scheme?

Roosevelt’s plan failed as many opposed his move to add more judges to the Supreme Court. Critics say that it violated the constitution and as a result it was rejected even by those who support him. He planned this because if successful, it would expand his New Deal Program.
