Plants do not adapt to their environment because they do not compete for resources?

    I am not really sure if the question was a True or False question.

    But, this statement about is False.

    There is a lot of competition for resources. For example, lets consider the sunlight, Plants grow towards the light (sunlight) to absorb energy and light as much as they can and for sure there are many other plants which do the same at that time.
