    The electron configuration for the following elements and ions:

    Cr 2-8-13-1

    Cu 2-8-18-1

    Cr+2 2-8-12

    Cu+2 2-8-17

    Mn+2 2-8-13

    a positive sign next to an atom indicates that it lost electrons.

    a negative sign indicates that it gained electrons
