What is the change in heat energy when 125g of water at 10.0oC is raised to 0°C?

    The equation you need is q=mcΔT where the c value is the specific heat and for water it is always 4.184 J/g•K m is mass which is 125g and ΔT is the change in heat wich is 10K so its q = (125g) (4.184J/g•K) (10K) which is 5230 Joules
