An alloy contains 56 g of pure silver and 17 g of pure copper. What is the percentage silver in the alloy

    Find the molar mass of both of them and then divide the mass in grams for each by the molar mass of ech to get the number of moles. Add the number of moles together and divide the number of moles of silver by that sum.
