    The same question exists with the following choices.

    A. 56.8 g/min

    B. 227 g/min

    C. 908 g/min

    D. 13,600 g/min

    The correct answer is letter C. 908 g/min.

    Rate of reaction = change in conc of products (conc of products formed) / time required.

    data is 0.8 moles in 15 sec.

    we can simply put it in formula and solve it but the answers are in units of g/min whereas data is in moles/sec.

    lets convert it then!

    mass in grams = moles x molar mass

    molar mass of P4O10 = 31*4 + 10*16 = 284grams/mole

    mass in grams = 0.8 x 284 = 227.2 g

    time = 15 s

    convert in min by dividing by 60

    t = 15/60 = 0.25min

    now put in formula = 227.2 / 0.25 = 908 g/min
