    False? I thought the US team replaced their Jewish athletes with Jesse Owens and Ralph Metcalfe (black athletes) who went on to win Gold. I believe Helen Mayer (half Jewish German) did win a silver for Germany. Hitler was forces to add her to the team as he had already received so much backlash. Many countries boycotted or threatened to boycott. Strange the world knew all about him in 1936 and yet would not be rid of him until 1945 ...
