    Ax + By = C

    this is the standard form equation

    They cannot contain fractions or decimals A, B, and C have to be integers

    A has to be positive and - 5x isn't positive so there is your problem.

    It's in standard form. I think your question is wrong

    A standard form is Ax + By = C so if there's any problem is should be C
